On April 15, the "New Sewage Electric Ammonia Nitrogen Removal System with Automatic Operation and Remote Control" project sponsored by China-Israel Jizhi (Guangzhou) Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "China-Israel Jizhi Technology") was successfully held in Guangzhou The (International) Scientific and Technological Achievement Transformation Tianhe Base.

 

The project provider, professor Weiyi Wang from Guangdong Technion-Israel Institute of Technology (hereinafter referred to as GTIIT) , associate Professor Haihong Song from the Lianjiang Governance Center of Shantou University, Ms. Xixi Fu, general Manager of China-Israel Technology, and Ms. Min Li, director of China-Israel Technology’s VIP Project, etc. guests, environmental protection companies participating in the project docking also attended the meeting.

Project Introduction



Professor Ori Lahav from GTIIT and Associate Professor Haihong Song from Shantou University's Lianjiang Governance Center established the "Ammonia Nitrogen Treatment Technology Joint Project" team in 2018 to conduct research on the application of ammonia nitrogen removal from black and odorous water based on ion exchange and electrochemical regeneration technology.

 

The project was supported by a key research project of Guangdong Province in 2019, and carried out a technical demonstration in Taoxi Village, Chaonan District. At present, the equipment has achieved stable operation for 6 months, and the ammonia nitrogen emission has reached the surface water level five standards.

Compared with the biological method, the treatment efficiency of this system is an order of magnitude higher, the treatment process is measurable and controllable, and it can perform advanced treatment of ammonia nitrogen with a concentration below 5mg/L.

2.Ammonia nitrogen and total nitrogen can be removed at the same time


Unlike waterfall or aerobic processes that generate nitrate nitrogen, electrolysis directly converts ammonia nitrogen into nitrogen, directly reducing total nitrogen, and avoiding algal blooms in lakes and other water bodies with poor fluidity.

Virtual ammonia nitrogen sensor detection algorithm


- Ammonia nitrogen calculation model based on the combination of chemistry, fluid and control theory;

- Realize process control and calculation of ammonia nitrogen treatment capacity through algorithm recognition of pH characteristic signals;

- Saves the investment of ammonia nitrogen sensor cost and the high maintenance cost in the later period.

Adaptive process adjustment system and remote monitoring system based on influent concentration



- Based on the virtual ammonia nitrogen sensor technology, the treatment process is automatically adjusted according to the change of the influent water concentration to ensure that the ammonia nitrogen effluent reaches the standard. Maximize equipment utilization and reduce redundancy.

- Automatically realize equipment maintenance reminders by monitoring process parameter changes.

- Through the remote monitoring system, remote monitoring and equipment over-control can be realized, which greatly reduces the cost of manpower inspection.
